The Madderson Woman’s Easter Getaway
– Posted by Helen
The long-awaited Easter break is right around the corner and for many of us, that means jetting off in search of blue skies and balmy evenings. This year, the Madderson Woman is travelling to Puglia in Italy in search of awesome rustic Italian food and incredible wines, not to mention the breath-taking backdrop of rural estates with vineyards dotted with ancient olive trees, all leading down to the sparkling Salento sea. Bliss!
Both Sara and I have vacationed here (separately) and the exclusive luxury offered at the Masseria Torre Maizza (complete with its own private ‘Coccaro Beach Club’) is hard to beat for some grown-up, away-from-it-all downtime. Here, we bring you a couple of looks that we hope will inspire a holiday wardrobe to love (and of course, it will make the packing for your glamorous getaway that much easier!)
First, daywear. Arriving in Puglia wearing this classic navy and white combination will ensure you feel as stylish as the 5-star resort that is your home for the next week. The Leonie blouse is pure silk and so feather-light – a suitcase staple that will take up almost no room, leaving plenty of space for fun accessories like these fabulous Chloe wedges.
For evening, we are all about understated glamour with our Celine skirt (Parisian couture tweed in powder blue and gold) that oozes sophistication. Here, we’re teaming it with a dress-down white tee and statement necklace for that laid-back holiday vibe.
We wish you a wonderfully glamorous Easter getaway!
