SS19 signatures collection
This season marks the launch of our Madderson Signatures collection. A carefully curated capsule of the best of Madderson London’s effortless, feminine style combined with beautiful craftsmanship. Our design ethos is to create timeless investment pieces that can be relied upon, whatever the occasion. Always appropriate, always stylish and always guaranteed to catch an admiring glance, the Signatures are true wardrobe heroes.
DESIGNED FOR WORK & PLAY
Endlessly versatile, these are clothes that can be worn for work or play.
Desk-to-dinner dresses form the core of the collection, fine-tuned after five years of design iterations. The details are all important to us: the ‘just right’ hemline, that special Italian brocade trim (negating the need for over-thinking accessories) and impeccable tailoring for a stream-lined silhouette.
We understand what sets a dress apart from the next one along in your wardrobe. And our loyal customers regularly tell us that these dresses are some of the most useful, hard-working pieces they own and go on to buy in multiple colours.
WEAR NOW. LOVE FOREVER.
A colour palette of black, ivory, navy and red are the foundations of the Signatures collection. We believe that print is always a good idea and so we introduced our hand-painted leopard print, everybody's new neutral, to this collection too. The result is classic shapes in wearable colours with special detailing that elevates your look.
EXPERTLY CRAFTED WITH LOVE
All the pieces from the collection are made by one of our two family-run factories in London and in Portugal. The ponte jersey used for many of our dresses are all made by Greek-born Tom, who runs a small factory with his dad in Haringey, East London.
The silk for our luxurious blouses is sourced from one of the UK’s top suppliers of premium silks - operating since 1926. These are then handcrafted by an all-female atelier in Portugal. The care and attention poured into every ruffle and detail is evident from the quality of the finished product, down to the last French seam.
